Nickels to Dimes is an effect invented by Walter Gibson in 1926 and manufactured by Carl Brema and Sons. Its a variant of the Cap and Pence.
Ad in The Sphinx, Vol. 25, No. 9 (November 1926)

A brass box is placed over a stack of nickels and they instantly turn into a stack of dimes.

Brema made several models and Viking Mfg. currently owns the manufacturing rights to all Brema items. [1][2]

Variations

  • Nickels to mini nickels (e.g. they shrink).
