Norman Melancton ("Big Norm") Bel Geddes (April 27, 1893 – May 8, 1958) was an American theatrical and industrial designer who focused on aerodynamics. Actress Barbara Bel Gedddes was his daughter.

As a child, he was a bellhop on a Great Lakes steamer. He endeared himself to a travelling magician who taught him a number of tricks, and Geddes made his theatrical debut at the age of 16 as "Zedsky the Boy Magician."[1]
