Psycrets: British Society of Mystery Entertainers was borne from communication on niche magic, mentalism and bizarre magick web forums. The first 'Tabula Mentis' meeting was arranged in Treadwells Bookshop in Covent Garden London on July 7, 2007. The meeting of like-minded UK and European based mentalists, bizarrists, storytellers, readers, spiritualist performers, and other 'mystery' entertainers generated so much interest that it was subsequently formally established by Dr. Todd Landman, Roni Shachnaey and Steve Drury as a private association dedicated to mystery entertainment rather than 'magic'.
