Parker Swan was a professional magician and performed with his wife, Claire, as the comedy team of "Parker Swan and Claire."

Like many magician of his era, he started out with a Mysto Magic Set and did his first public show at the age of 12. [1]

He developed an act featuring "How To Force a Watemelon," "Prunes of All Nations," and "Fruits I Have Worked With," which played to great success at several magic conventions.[2]

Parker worked in Holden's Magic Shop from 1942-1946. He has served as a regional vice president for the S.A.M. and other positions. He has lectured on the history of magic and supports the New England Collectors organization.

He created the "Parker Swan Dollhouse Production".

Parker lately has enjoyed playing in the Northborough Senior Center’s Harmonica Club.[3]
