Phil Thomas (1912-1998) was owner of Yogi Magic Mart in Baltimore Maryland.

Biography

In his teens, he did shows with childhood friend Milbourne Christopher. In the 1940s, he performed on local TV shows including hosting his own called "Sunday Magic Party".

Thomas was a magic disciple of Ernest B. Marx and a member of his Pyramid Magic Club.

Thomas was the first president of the Magic Dealers Association and produced a number of the MAES conventions.

He was member No. 4855 of the I.B.M. and Ring No. 179 in Baltimore for over 50 years. He was member No. 2214 of the S.A.M. and the Kellar-Thurston Assembly No. 6 for 53 years.
