Prof. Liebholz

Prof. Liebholz started a new direction in modern magic; the general use of apparatus or mechanical instruments of all kinds.[1]

Biography

He worked out many new ideas, and had the apparatus made by different mechanics: the Indian basket, Hindoo Box Trick, the Speaking Head and the Sphynx. He became the first magic dealer in Germany.

Through the influence of Liebholz, Hamburg became the birthplace of modern magic. [2]
