R. W. Hoel (fl.1900s-1920s), a General Electric Co. engineer, was the editor and publisher of the Combined Magical Club Bulletin.

Biography

He lived in Albany, New York in the year 1900. Hoel was S.A.M. no. 435 and a Vice-President of the Magicians' Club of Buffalo, New York.

His work with them took him successively to Schenectady, Pittsfield, Lynn, Massachusetts, and New York City, where he joined the S. A. M., and finally to Buffalo.[1]

The November 1923 issue of the Sphinx reports him moving to Los Angeles.
