Ralph W. Hull (July 5, 1883 - May 20, 1943), born in Crooksville, Ohio was a professional magician, author and inventor of a number of commercial effects.

Biography

Ralph W. Hull was a performer at Coney Island as the Chautauqua & Lyceum headliner.

He was also involved in his family business, Hull Pottery manufacturing company, in Ohio.

He is best know for the mechanical decks he developed using his Rough and Smooth principle. John Northern Hilliard's Greater Magic has a chapter devoted to Hull, "The Tuned Deck".
