Biography
Bieri was a member of the I. B. M. who traveled to South America several times and was interested in world-wide work for lepers. He wrote many hymns and several books.[1]
He had long been interested in magic and had a large collection of equipment that he had gathered during his travels.
For a number of years after his retirement from his church he has devoted himself to visiting leper colonies in different countries where he would preach and also give performances of magic.[2][3]
Also known as the flying parson, he was one of the first to perform a marriage ceremony in a plane while it circled City Hall. [4]
