Robert Houdin Club was formed in Kansas City Missouri around 1911 and was active until the late 1920s.

Charter members were Dr. T. S. Blakesley (president) Donald Holmes (secretary), Guy Babst, J. Clyde Cooper and F. A. Koester.

The first social session was held on the evening of March 21, 1912 at "The Colonial Lunch Restaurant" and was attended by one hundred and twenty-five invited guests.[1]

Later, in the 1940s, there was a Robert Houdin Club formed in Hartford, Connecticut.
