Ronald Haines (1906-1974) was the owner of Haines House of Cards in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born J. Ronald Haines to Quaker parents in Fayette County, Ohio, he attended the Engineering College at the University of Cincinnati. Haines had always been interested in magic and among his oldest magician friends, who gave him his start, were S. S. Henry, John Snyder, Jr., and Stewart Judah.
After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he worked for Snyder at the Fox Lake Card company. Ronald purchased the company after Snyder died in 1947 and renamed it Haines House of Cards, which he ran until his death for more then 30 years.
He was also a member of Ring 71 in Cincinnati and served as president of IBM, SAM and the M.D.A..
