Rue Walde (1909-1966) The Society Entertainer, the stage name of Rudolph "Rudy" Walde, was a semi-professional that did full evening shows starting in 1928.[1]

Biography

He also played saxophone in an orchestra. Walde would do a magic act in front of the bandstand. His act included rope, card tricks and small magic. He also did an imitation of Cardini (giving credit).[2]

Walde was a member of the S.A.M., served in the US Army and was a Veteran of World War II.[3]
