Rue Walde, The Society Entertainer, was the stage name of Rudolph "Rudy" Walde. He was a semi-professional that did full evening shows starting in 1928. [1]
He also played saxophone in an orchestra. Walde would do a magic act in front of the bandstand. His act included rope, card tricks and small magic. He also did an imitation of Cardini (giving credit).[2]
He was a member of the SAM.
Walde served in the US Army and was a Veteran of World War II.[3]
