J. Russell Duck (1909-1959), known professionally as "Rusduck", was a police chief in Pennsylvania.

Biography

He was active in the IBM and the Magicops.

In February, 1957, Mr. Duck founded the magazine The Cardiste, devoted entirely to card tricks. He continued the magazine until illness prevented him from working. He succumbed to cancer in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. The periodical “The Cardiste” run from February 1957 until August 1958 for a total of 11 issues. The 12th issue was published posthumously after Rusduck's death in Ibidem magazine.

He is noted for his work on Card Stacks and invented the Stay-Stack.
