Ruth Ann (Fonda) Pitts (1928-2011) performed professionally as "The Fabulous Fondas" with her first husband Clark Fonda (1914-1998) around New York State and on cruise ships. She was also a solo magician known unofficial as "Goddess of Gaslight Village" in Lake George, New York.

Biography

She lived in the Saratoga, New York area for many years and moved to Scotia, New York in 1959 when she married Clark Fonda.

She was an active member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) and the Society of American Magicians(SAM). The IBM Ring No. 186 in known as the New York Capital District Clark and Ruth Fonda Ring.[1]

Ruth married Bill Pitts in 2000, and relocated to Fort Smith, Arkansas. They performed magic shows and lectured throughout the country.[2]
