• He invented several magic tricks which were performed by magicians around the globe. Some of them are POCKET THREE CARD MONTE, REPEAT INSTANT ART, PAPER LINKING RINGS, ZIG–ZAG LADY, GROWING MONEY and HOPING SILK.

• To induce WORLD PEACE he performed a magical fete on the magical day 12th December,2012 (12-12-12) at Sri Anam Kalakendram, Rajahmundry. This fete was recorded in Everest World Records, Miracles World Records, Telugu Book of Records, Book of State Records, Wonder Book of Records, India Book of Records, High Range Book of Records, Creative Records, Marvelous World Records and Golden Book of World Records.

• He won 3rd prize in All India magic competitions held at Goa, in 2002. He won 1st prize in All India Magic competitions held at Sirohi Road, Rajasthan in 2004. DOORADARSHAN telecasted his magic shows and interviews two in 2003 , one in 2008 and one in 2018 where in, he educated all the viewers about blind beliefs and superstitions. His magic shows were also telecasted in MAA TV, ETV2, GEMINI TV, ZEE T V, TV9, TV10, MAHA TV, SITI CABLE CHANNELS.

He gave Lecture cum Demonstrations on the subject How to use Magic in eradicating superstitions, how to use magic in Education , how to use magic in improving rational thinking in Science Magic Festival at Vijayawada,2008, Jantar Mantar 2008 at Tirupathi, A.P.Magic festival 2009 at Guntur, IMHA Magic convention at Coimbatore, Mega Magic Moments 2010 at Howrah, Talk Magic Convention at Bangalore ,Jantar Mantar 2011 at Tirupathi, IMHA Magic Convention at Coimabatore, MayaBazar 2014 at Khammam, Mayalokam 2015 at Rajampeta,Choo Manthar Magic Asia 2018 , Hyderabad, Kaktiya Magic festival 2018, Warangal, MAYA MANTAR -2019, HAI LAND, Guntur; Mega Magic Moments – 2019, Howrah; All India Jadugar Bhetghat – 2022, Sonepur, Odisha; MayaJaalam – 2022, Hyderabad . Biography

Dr. Saride Manohara Rao, who is popularly known as STICK MANOHAR in Magic Fraternity. He is the only Indian Magician who achieved INDIVIDUAL GUINNESS WORLD RECORD (LARGEST MAGIC LESSON- https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/largest-magic-lesson) on 16th December, 2016, by teaching 4 magic tricks to 1500 participants and thereby got recognition to India. He is the only magician in the world who completed Ph.D. from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, taking MAGIC as a topic (PROBLEMS OF MAGICIANS IN ANDHRA PRADESH: A SOCIALOGICAL STUDY) and brought recognition to India in the art of Magic. He is the only magician who received KALARATNA the prestigious and highest award of Government of Andhra Pradesh, India. He created National Record in Magic on which was recognized and published by LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS. To promote Indian Culture in African Countries , he performed magic shows at DAR ES SALAAM, and at ARUSHA, TANZANIA. He worked in Police Department, Andhra Pradesh, India and retired as Addl.Superintendent of Police on 31-07-2021. He completed B.Com from Andhra University, M.Sc., Psychology from Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad;M.A., Public Administration from Andhra University, M.A. Socialogy, M.A. Social Work, M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication from Acharya Nagarjuna University; B.G.L., and B.L., from Andhra Univarsity; PG DIPLOMA IN CRIMINOLOGY AND POLICE ADMINISTRATION from Madhurai Kamaraj University; PG DIPLOMA IN GUIDENCE AND COUNSELLING from Sri Venkateswara University. On 4th April,2018 he completed Ph.D from Acharya Nagarjuna University.

In 1970 at the age of 10 years he got attracted to Magic after seeing the performance of a street magician in Rajahmundry. He started performing stage Magic shows in 1976.  Twice he delivered speech about the difference between Magic and Black Magic which was broadcasted  in ALL INDIA RADIO in 1985. He performed  magic shows throughout India and abroad. He wrote many articles on magic in weekly magazines and daily news papers to eradicate superstitions. He wrote a weekly column on magic tricks which can be performed with Match Sticks, and these were published in Andhra Prabha Telugu daily news paper in 1986-87.  Later in 1990 it was published as a book named AGGIPULLALATHO MAGICKULU. 

In 2015 he started a social service organisation in the name of MAGIC HANDS and serving SPECIALLY ABLED PERSONS, DEAF and DUMB, ORPHANS, AIDS PATIENTS, OLD AGED ORPHANS and WIDOWS by visiting different homes and shelters and giving magic shows and providing needy things . In order to create awareness among people about Traffic Rules, NationaI Integrity, Pollution Control, Say No to Drugs, Swatch Bharath, he performed Blind fold Motor cycle driving in various places of India. In the year 24th April,2005, he organized a State Level Magic Festival in Pamarru, Krishna Dist., In the year 1989, he started a magic school in Kakinada and cundcuted magic seminars in Kakinada, Rajahmundry,Vijayawada, Guntur and Hyderabad. He also served as President for Andhra Pradesh Magicians Association, Guntur for 3 consequent years. He is the Honorary President for Magicians Magical Association , Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh , Adviser and Representative from A.P in Goodwill Magic Club, Lucknow, U.P, and member in Bharat Magic Circle , Hyderabad, Magic Academy , Tiruvanantapuram, Kerala, Jadu Sansthan, Agra and International Brother Hood of Magicians , USA. He joined in Andhra Pradesh Special Police Service as Reserve Sub-Inspector of Police on 1st July, 1982. After completion of training he worked in 5th Bn APSP, VIJAYANAGARAM and 8th Bn Ambarpet. Later in the year 1985 he selected as Reserve Sub-Inspector of Police in District Armed Reserve and allotted to Eluru Range. After completion of training he worked in Eluru, Vijayawada, Kakinada and Rajahmundry. In the year 1995 he was converted as Civil Sub-Inspector from Reserve Sub-Inspector and under went training in APPA , Hyderabad. After completition of training he worked as Sub-Inspector of Police, Law and Order in Rajahmundry, Addateegala, Sakhinetipalli police stations and as a traffic SI in Rajahmundry. On 23rd June 2001 he got promotion as Inspector of Police and posted as CI of police CCS-2 , Vijayawada. Later he worked as Law and Order Inspector in Pamarru Circle, Krishna Dist., and Patamata PS, Vijayawada city. Later, he worked as Inspector DCRB, Krishna Dist., Inspector DTC, Rajahmundry and Inspector DCRB, Kakinada. On 23rd June 2011 he was promoted as Deputy Superintendent of Police and posted to Police Training College , Ongole. Later he worked as DSP District Training Centre , West Godavari Dist., SDPO , Yellandu Sub-division, Khammam Dist.,. After that he worked in Police Computer Services , Hyderabad as DSP and also worked as ASP Central Crime Station, Detective Department, Hyderabad, Telangana State. On 20th July 2017 he was transferred from Telangana State to Andhra Pradesh State. Later he worked as DSP Govt. Railway Police, Rajahmundry. On 22nd February 2020 he got promotion as Additional Superintendent Of Police and posted to Guntur Urban Dist., as Addl. Superintendent of Police , Crimes. During his tenure in the police department he received one Police Seva Medal, Ati Utkrushta Seva Medal, 2 MSEs, 69 GSEs, 44 Cash awards, 2 Appreciation Letters and 1 Trophy

• He borned on July 12th 1961 at Rajahmundry, A.P. His parents are Late S. Seshagiri Rao and Chandravati. He married to Smt. Kosuri Chiranjeevi Someswari Devi in 1993, who is also working in Police Department. He blessed wih a daughter Pushyami Manohar in 1996.
