A sleight that allows to "steal" a card simply peeked by a spectator.

First description in The Art of Magic (1909) attributed to Nate Leipzig and named The Side Slip (steal) (page 142, Dover Edition 1980)


The book "Side Steal" was chapter 4 of RCT series by Ed Marlo (1957)
