A picture, possibly showing the face of the author appears in the page facing page 118. Goldston's Magician Monthly Vol. 5, No. 5 (April 20, 1909) page 33, stated that this book was listed as having been written by an author whose name was Ralpho.

Among it's 220 pages with nearly 200 photographs were chapters on:

An American edition was later printed in Chicago around 1910.
