It ran, starting in December 1945, for 23 years.
Lewis Ganson was the editor until the magazine changed hands in 1971, where it continued under the editorship of Val Andrews for a further two issues as the New Gen.
Ganson published material that would later show up in his books including Routined Manipulation, The Art of Close-Up Magic, The Dai Vernon Book of Magic, Inner Secrets of Card Magic and The Magic of Slydini.
It started with 3 mimeographed issues while Stanley was still in the army.
