The Teen-Age Magicians of America was formed in 1954 with the merging of three clubs, the original Teen-Age Magicians of America (form in the early 1950s ), the Lads of Legerdemain and The Magic Wand Correspondence Club.

Their official publications were first The Wand and then after the merger, The Teenage Trixter.

In 1955, Arthur Andrews released a card trick "Spectacular", with all proceeds go to the club.

They folded around 1956 and the Magic Youth International (later taken on by the IBM) took it's place.
