The Trick That Cannot Be Explained is a card effect devised by Dai Vernon and published in More Inner Secrets of Card Magic. A selected card is found in the deck. Trying to explain how the trick is done is very hard to do since it uses lots of Equivoque and is different each time it is performed.

Tangled Web by Eric Mead has a chapter on his approach it performing it.
