Tom Sellers (1890-1961) was creator of Bank Night, originally called It's Only Chance in Novel Necromancy (1935). It his younger days he performed shows in Scotland and Canada.

Biography

He contributed to most of the magical magazines for many years, including The Sphinx, The Gen, The Magician Monthly, The Magic Wand, The Wizard and The Linking Ring.

In February, 1936, he won the "Sphinx Medal" for the "Best Trick of the Year" in the Amateur Section.

He was one of the original members of the first Edinburgh Magical Society and joined the I.B.M. in 1926.
