The Twirl Change is a Color Change that was popularized by Jay Sankey .

As your right middle finger and thumb holds a card by its index corners, it visibly changes to another card as the hand shakes back and forth.

It was originally published as "The Pivot Color Change" by Noel Stanton in The Gen in June 1964 (Vol. 20, No. 2).

Variations:

  • "In Lieu of the Through-the-Fist Flourish" by Ed Marlo in M-U-M July 1983 (Vol. 73, No. 2).
