Tyler Wilson

Tyler Wilson is a close-up magician and stand-up comedian from Alberta, Canada who is quickly becoming known for his creative plotlines, methodology, and presentations. To date, a small sampling of his material has appeared in both MAGIC and Genii (“Deep Vernon,” in the August, 2005 issue, and “Stick it to The Man,” in March of 2006), and he has written two books of his original magic - Dominatricks (Andi Gladwin Publications, 2006), and Movers & Shakers (with Andy Gladwin, Andi Gladwin Publications, 2007). Tyler’s material has also been published in The Magician’s Ltd Cookbook (by Jack Parker and Andi Gladwin), Magic From The Session 2 (by Andi Gladwin), and The Cheetah’s Handbook (an e-book with multiple contributors).

A Sampling of Quotes

  • “Tyler Wilson has a wonderful, creative mind. His work with cards is top notch.” Joshua Jay
  • “When I read Dingle's Deceptions I thought, 'My God.' When I read The Magic of Paul Harris, I thought, 'Thank God.' When I read Dominatricks I thought, 'Finally: the next leap forward.' I've waited a long time. I'm very happy that I didn't die before this came along.”' Steve Mayhew
  • “Part magical innovator, part North American sasquatch, Tyler Wilson is primed and ready to hold the magic world upside down by its ankles and shake it into submission. Only then will he return to the forest.” David Acer
