Hugo Lecavalier

Hugo is a Montreal magician, comedian and actor who professionally perform close-up magic, stand-up magic and family magic.

He is studying and performing magic and theater since 1994 but started is career in 2002, at the age of 25, performing at the Abracadabra event held by Just for Laugh for a whole summer. In fact, he was performing with two other fellow magicians, nearly 4 shows a days 3 to 4 days a week for spectator's aged between 4 and 12. This is where he gain experience in kids and family show and created his funny, clowny character Magicolo.

In his show, that is a whole story theatrical based performance, he use classic magic, puppetry and illusions from his own mind with comedy situations and funny bits of business. In 2006, Le Cirque du Soleil, invited him to perform his show for their private Christmas party, and was a big hit.

He worked with award winning magician Olmac and M. Guy Camirand, on a magic DVD presenting some of the most cleaver move in card magic: Control Freak.
