Ace Assembly Reference

Since you've been editing the "Ace Assembly" page - the link to the Genii Forum in the references is not leading to any relevant page. I didn't find the proper page, otherwise I would have fixed it myself. --TStone 21:40, 19 February 2009 (EST)

I fixed the link. Joe 22:26, 19 February 2009 (EST)

Also, if you have any interest in this topic, here is my take on the effect :)

Chronological order of publication?

Hello. I wonder... When talking about an effect, isn't it best to first name the original publication, and then any eventual re-publications?

Like in Re-Set. In that order, the re-publication before the original publication, it is easy to confuse things, and accidentally get the idea that Re-Set first was published in 1996. --TStone 23:24, 12 April 2009 (EDT)

answer

Good morning Tom,

At the beginning, the order was alphabetical, then chronological but there are some articles with date before the reference or other with date at the end of the reference.

But you are right. To avoid confusion, il will be better to have the first date of publication like this:

  • (1977) Reset in Supermagic by Paul Harris, reprint in 1996 in Art of Asthonisment.

I think Tom was speaking of the first sentence of the article. I agree that it makes more sense to list the publications in chronological order there too. I'll make the change. Just an FYI, there is also a "Discussion" link on every article where you can leave notes like this too (that way more people may see the discussion) Joe 07:58, 13 April 2009 (EDT)

I agree.

Thanks! Good to know. A pity that not more people are actively involved with this Wiki. Perhaps one should have an "Article of the week" thread at the Genii forum, to lure more people in?--TStone 02:41, 14 April 2009 (EDT)

Good idea. If you have some in mind, nominate them here: MagicPedia_talk:Today's_featured_article. I'll use it for the MainPage Feature article too. Joe 05:30, 14 April 2009 (EDT)

Year categorization

We decided to group years by century rather then decades. I'll take care of fixing them all though! I just wanted you to be aware of the change in direction. See Category talk:Years for more info. Joe P. 17:10, 31 January 2010 (UTC)

New book template

Please start using the new Template:Infobox_book for all new books. (Don't worry about fixing ones already done using "BookInfo"). See Sharps_and_Flats as an example.

Anniversaries

Thanks for updating the "MagicPedia:Selected anniversaries" each day. That's great!. Joe P. 11:48, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Welcome Back!

I was missing the updates to the anniversaries! Glad your back! Joe P. 09:14, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Bonus Genius (Jean de la Vigne)

Hi Philippe, it seems you edit this piece of information. I would like to know who is the referenced "Jean de la Vigne" and which is the relation with Bonus Genius. Thanks a lot.

Please stop vandalism, I don't want to waste my time to come and check my contribution

Hello there. Why did you vandalize a celebrity page? You vandalized the page about Prince Oak Oakleyski that I've written. Stop it. Thanks
