W. C. Franciscus (1863-?) was a illusionist that performed on the east coast of the United States in the early 1900s as "The Eminent Magician".
Biography
Franciscus became interested in magic at fourteen. He played school houses at this until he became sixteen and then joined a vaudeville company known as the Coleman Sisters.
Later he went in the drug business as an apprentice, graduating from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. In 1900, he went out on the road with an elaborate magical production. He toured with this show for four years. [1]
