W. R. "Rich" Richardson was a magical performer, a demonstrator and then dealer in magical apparatus
He started in the magic business professionally around 1903 and established agencies for the sale of magical apparatus.
By 1909 he was a general sales agent of the Mysto Magic Company and a charter member of the Hartford Society of Magicians in 1909[1]
In 1913 he was connected with the "Magic Shop" as partner with Mr. L. E. Lyons in Philadelphia.[2]
By 1916, he forsook all magic, married, moved to Canada to sell "Mysto Erector Sets".[3]
