Wilbur Edgerton Sanders (1861-1935) was a mining engineer and son of Wilbur Fisk Sanders (a United States Senator from Montana and lawyer).[1] [2]

He has been identified as a possible candidate to the real identity of S. W. Erdnase, the unknown author of Expert at the Card Table.
