William Kennedy

William Kennedy is an illusion designer and builder in Ventura California. He's created effects for many shows, including: Amour (Broadway); Doug Henning's World of Magic (Broadway); Into the Woods (Broadway); Mary Poppins (West End); Merlin (Broadway); Ragtime (Broadway); Ricky Jay On the Stem (Off Broadway).

In 1979, Kennedy began work for Doug Henning, building illusions for his television specials and working on Henning's touring productions and Broadway shows.

In the late 1980s, he pioneered the use of welded sheet aluminum in illusions.

He works regularly with magic designers Franz Harary, Jim Steinmeyer and Don Wayne and his illusions have been featured by Criss Angel, Dirk Arthur, Harry Blackstone, Lance Burton, David Copperfield, Ricky Jay, The Pendragons, and Silvan.[1]
