Zat Zam (circa late 1840s - January 14th, 1936) an Aztec Indian born near Vera Cruz, Mexico who had a career as "Chief Zat-Zam", a knife thrower and magician for over seventy years. He also preformed for a time with his wife as The Zat Zams. He was famous for developing the act of throwing knives at a woman against a board, outlining her body with them.

The "Chief" claimed to be one of the last survivors of the Aztec Indian tribe. He traveled with Popcorn Johnny's Circus and the Ringling Brothers. Later he was with Gordon Lily, who owned the Buffalo Bill show.

During his career the "Chief" made three world tours and appeared in a command performance before King Edward VII of England.

At the end of his career, he had made his home in Peoria, Illinois and was a member of the Peoria Magicians' Assembly.
