Brook Farm Inn of Magic
Brook Farm Inn of Magic was a magic dinner theater in the upscale Brook Farm suburb (Chevy Chase, Maryland) of Washington,D.C. in the 1980s.
Located in a historical stable building that had been converted to a teahouse during the Roosevelt administration, it was started by magicians Bob Sheets, Steve Spill, and Eddie Goldstein in the early 1980s as a magic bar with a dinner show once a week. As the show became more popular they kept adding nights until the dinner show was running seven nights a week.
Although Sheets and Spill would occasionally jump behind the bar to perform close-up, they were so busy with the dinner show that they would hire Scotty York to be the full-time bar magician.[1][2]
Magicians who had performed there include: John Kennedy
