James Kater Thompson (1889-1972) was a sleight of hand artist card expert, booking agent, and auctioneer.
Biography
Thompson moved to Chicago at an early age. At 13 he joined a unicycle act. He started magic around the age of 16 and toured with all the major Vaudeville Circuits.
He was a close associate of Nate Leipzig, Clement DeLion, and Dai Vernon.[1]
