Dr. Arthur Hastings (b.1935-d.2014) is a semi-professional magician and Research Director of the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology.

Biography

His areas of specialization are transpersonal theory, research methods, altered states of consciousness, and parapsychology.

Prior to 1975, Hasting taught at Stanford University, the University of Nevada, and the University of California at Santa Barbara. He has conducted research on remote viewing; hypnosis, dreams, and bereavement.[1]
