Professor Shenqi, born in Flint, Michigan in May 1992, is a Sleight of Hand Artist, Musician, Poet, and Performance Artist.

Biography

Professor Shenqi, of Flint, Michigan, primarily studied and practiced Numismatic Sleight of Hand (Magic with Coins) for over two decades.

He is the first Sleight of Hand Artist to create and showcase three TEDx performances in a single session, a hat trick at Detroit’s legendary Music Hall.

He is an International Magic Educator, directly working with over 1,200 students in Beijing, China in 2019 and 2023. He has also performed his unique works live in London, Paris, Vancouver, Toronto, and Shenzhen.

He is the Resident Illusionist of Theatre Bizarre, the largest, and most illustrious masquerade ball in the US. He has appeared on television, toured extensively nation-wide as a 7-time Poetry Slam champion, 3 time author, and has received critical acclaim in Music as an award-winning Steel Pan Soloist.
