Loch David Crane (b. 1948) calls himself "a magician of character" because he plays so many parts in the stages of life and entertainment.

Biography

Crane graduated from San Diego State University in 1971, with a Master's in Education in 1977. His career as an educator lasted through 1996, and included his last fourteen years at National University. He performed as "Mistoffelees the Magical Cat" in the 1980s.

He performs as "Bafflin' Bill Cody" a western magician with stage and close up acts. He may be seen on YouTube with several versions of "Sawing in Half" including school principals, tribal leaders, and a feathered Samba dancer.

Crane starts to grow a real beard each summer for "The Magic Santa Claus", performing a magic act as well as the usual Santa Services.[1]

He has written five textbooks in technical writing, and a magic book.
