Fred Catiller (1912-2001) was a salesman and semi-professional magician in both stage and close-up.
Biography
Catiller, born to a Vaudevillian, always had a love for show business. His first "gig" was at age five when his father brought him on stage to sing. He earned a living as an master of ceremonies, a radio show host, a tool and die maker, a magician, and after marriage as a salesman of tools using magic to make friends and sales.
After his children were grown, he resumed his comedy magic career until his retirement.
Catiller was an honorary life member of I.B.M. Ring 96 in Long Beach California, an honorary life member of the Society of American Magicians, and a Member of the Magic Circle (IMC).[1]
