John Albert Briggs (November 17 1884 - August 4, 1969) was a magic dealer and editor/publisher of many magazines. He also wrote under his stage names Albert Russell, "Merbak" and "The Great Chandu".
Biography
Briggs emigrating to Australia and joined the Australian Society of Magicians in the 1920s. He was a the founding member and first president of the Australian Magic Circle (1923).
