Gilbert George Elliot (1911-1940) was an amateur magician that spoke four languages.[1]
Biography
His act consisted of card tricks and large productions suitable for platform work, with musical accompaniment.
Elliot became interested in magic at the age of eleven and taught himself from books and watching professional magicians.
He worked for the Diplomatic Service and performed for charity in European and South American capitals.
He was a member of the Magic Circle and Magicians' Club.[2]
