Richard Allen Garriott (born July 4, 1961) is an English-American video game developer and entrepreneur.

Garriott is also an avid magician and magic collector, and appeared on the cover of the January 2008 MUM.
On October 12, 2008, Garriott launched aboard Soyuz TMA-13 to the International Space Station as a self-funded tourist, returning 12 days later aboard Soyuz TMA-12.
While aboard the ISS at the beginning of Expedition 18, Garriott and Greg Chamitoff filmed the first magic show in Space.
