Ray Chellis, a private first class in the United States Army, entertain the fellow servicemen with magic. [1]

Son of Major Ruel B. Chellis, he earned medals for expert marksmanship. While at Camp Howze, he often put on shows in the Red Cross auditorium, the Service Club, and the outdoor amphitheater. [2]

He was a contributor to the Dragon magazine and died in the Army hospital of peritonitis and pneumonia.
