Dr. Boris Zola (c.1900-1977), a practicing dentist by profession, marketed the trick Squash in 1933.[1]
Zola lived in Saginaw, Michigan, most of his life and helped organized the Saginaw Valley Mystics in the 1930s. When the group became I.B.M. Ring 212 in the 1970s, it was named in his honor.
He became I.B.M. member No. 1510 in 1927 and was a member of the Order of Merlin.
Zola's Silver Extraction was published in Modern Coin Magic by J.B. Bobo (1952)
He moved to California after retirement.[2]
