International Society of Junior Magicians was created by Vernon E. Lux from Mt. Morris, Illinois in 1932. He was president and published their monthly magic magazine called The Dragon for many years.

By the time it ended 14 years later, nearly 5,000 (young and old) had come and gone as members.
