Doug Dean traveled around the country with his big illusion show and later his "Dr. Dean’s Medicine Show".

He graduated from Sexton High, MSU and Illinois College of Optometry. After practicing one year in Peoria, IL, he returned to East Lansing.

Dean was a charter member of [[IBM} Ring 54, which is now named after him. He was also co-founder of Michigan Magic Day.

Dean battle increasing restrictions of Parkinson’s desease the last 16 years of his life. [1]
