Stan Hall (1896-1977) was a founding member of the IBM Rings in Hamilton, Canada (Ring 17 and 49)

Hall became interested in magic at the age seven. he left England in 1913 to moved to Hamilton, Ontario in Canada. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces (1916 - 1919) where he presented a musical/magic act while in service. He returned to Canada and worked on act.

Hall joined the IBM in 1927 and was appointed by then president W.W. Durbin as one of the first Canadian representatives. He contributed to the Linking Ring and competed at I.B.M. conventions, winning for originality.[1]
