Gene Grant was a magician specializing in mentalism.
Known as "Mr. Magic" while appearing for many years on local television, he gained a worldwide reputation among mentalists for a number of books and effects that he marketed under the pseudonym of "Phantini."
IBM Ring 98 was named the "Gene Grant Ring" in his honor.[1]
