Eugene "Gene" Castillon, born August 19, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana joined with Michael Dubreuil and started "Exclusive Magic" mail order business selling their original magic tricks in 1973.

Biography

Gene went to college at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio where he joined Ring 71 of the IBM.

After graduating from Xavier University in 1967 with Honors A.B. in Latin and English Literature, Gene remained in Cincinnati as a graduate assistant and then full time instructor at Xavier University until drafted into the Army in 1969.

After his Army service, Gene returned to New Orleans in late 1971 where he met and became friends with Jon Racherbaumer

In August 1974 Gene began to work at Power Structures. Inc., a steel fabrication plant in Belle Chasse, Louisiana. At one time, four magicians were all employed there: Roland Hurley, Marvin Johnson, Michael Dubreuil and Gene. Gene remained working there for twenty years.

In the 1990s, Gene was employed at the Culinary Institute of New Orleans at The Chefs Table Restaurant as Chief Accountant and Operations Manager. He taught magic to the Director of The Culinary Institute to use on television appearances and for cooking demonstrations.
