James "Red" Henning (c.1914-1927), a real estate salesman, was one of the founders of S.A.M. Assembly 70, and served as president of the PCAM.
Biography
He bought his first magic equipment from Bill Larsen Sr. in 1940 who also mentored him.[1]
He had also served the S.A.M. as Regional Vice President, and you will find him
pictured on the cover, and written up in
[2][3]
He converted a hen house to a meeting room with a stage. Known as the "Hen House", Henning would invite laymen to attend, providing the performing club magicians to work at a level higher than at standard magic club meetings.[4]
