Circle Magic Shop was ran by Mike Tannen, brother of Lou Tannen and Irving Tannen for 32 years at 1661 Broadway, New York City before selling it to Sy Sussman in 1976. [1]
It was a long counter inside an arcade on Broadway, opposite the Winter Garden theater.[2]
Lou Tannen was a kid magician when he joined his brother at the Circle Magic Shop, but would eventually opened his own shop in the Times Square area as Tannen's.
Those who pitched magic at the shop included Howard Brooks, and Lee Grey.
