Claude Chandler (1896-1977) was a professional actor, magician and ventriloquist. He served as Vice President of the Magic Circle from 1958 until his death.
Biography
He joined the Magic Circle in 1913.[1]
In the 1920's he created the Card in Balloon which was sold by Will Goldston.
Chandler was chosen by David Devant to present his stage show when Devant was no longer able to perform on stage due to ill health.[2][3]
His daughter "The Magical Claudine" (b. 1935) carried on the magic tradition.[4]
